Overview
Founded by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in Glashütte in 1845. Expropriated and folded into the VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe under East German rule in 1948, and re-established by Walter Lange and Günter Blümlein in 1990. Watches therefore fall into two entirely separate production eras with no continuity of parts or numbering.
