Overview
Founded in 2002 by David Zanetta and Denis Flageollet, and among the most technically inventive independents of the modern era, producing dozens of watches a year. Its signatures are mechanical and structural rather than decorative: lugs that articulate on pivots, a spherical moonphase built as a rotating palladium-and-blued-steel sphere, thermally blued titanium in which the colour is an oxide grown in the metal, and a balance wheel combining silicon with white gold. The DB28 took the Aiguille d'Or at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in 2011.
