The acrylic crystal specified for the Moonwatch. Acrylic crazes rather than shattering, which is why it was qualified for spaceflight; later examples carry a small Omega logo etched at the centre. A sapphire crystal on a reference specified with Hesalite is a configuration difference to record — it may be a sapphire-sandwich variant of the reference, or a service or aftermarket substitution.

    Later Hesalite crystals carry a laser-etched logo at the centre, visible at an angle under light. Its absence on an older crystal is expected; its absence on a recent one is a question.
