UnverifiedVostok dials are interchangeable across case references within a family, and were sold that way. The factory offered the same case with many dials, dealers assembled to order, and the parts market has kept every combination available for decades. Military, naval, commemorative and unit-themed designs were all sold commercially.

- Printing quality varies genuinely between production periods and is not by itself a reliability signal. Soviet-era dials carry Cyrillic text; later production carries both. Lume is applied by hand and unevenly on much genuine production.

Classified as `period` rather than as a marriage, and this is the single most important classification decision in the bundle. On a Rolex, a dial that does not belong to the case is a serious finding. On an Amphibia it is the ordinary condition of a genuine watch — the factory itself mixed them — and reporting it in the language of a marriage would misdescribe the object and mislead an owner.
Military or unit-themed dial

Sold commercially in large numbers alongside anything genuinely issued. A themed dial is not evidence of military issue, and on a brand made in these volumes an individual watch is essentially untraceable to a service.
Modern reproduction dial

That makes them common and makes their presence a configuration fact rather than an accusation — but it also means a watch presented as a scarce Soviet variant deserves scrutiny of the dial specifically, because that is where the value sits.
