Breitling B01
High confidenceThe caliber that ended Breitling's dependence on bought-in chronographs. Its roughly 70-hour reserve against the 7750's roughly 48 is the field distinction between generations of Chronomat and Navitimer, and it needs no disassembly to establish. The vertical clutch also removes the small jump of the chronograph seconds hand on starting that the 7750's oscillating pinion produces — observable while the watch runs.
