Its authentication value is that the mechanism is three-dimensional, moving and exposed: two nested rotations at different rates in different planes is not something that can be suggested by a static component or a decorated aperture, and a few seconds of observation distinguishes it from a conventional single-axis tourbillon.

Architecture

A manually wound caliber with a tourbillon carriage inclined at thirty degrees rotating once every sixty seconds inside a second, slower carriage rotating once every four minutes, so the balance describes a path through three dimensions.

Two rotations, two rates, two planes
Watch it run. The inner carriage turns quickly and is visibly tilted out of the dial plane; the outer carriage turns slowly and carries the whole assembly with it. Both rotations must be present, at different rates. A single rotation, or a tilted element that does not rotate, is a different mechanism — or none.
