The caliber the Slim d'Hermès exists for. Its micro-rotor is a structural constraint on the watch: recessing the winding weight into the plate removes height, so the case is thin because the movement is, and a Slim d'Hermès of ordinary thickness is not carrying this caliber. That check is the same one this catalog applies to Universal Genève's micro-rotor watches and it works for the same reason.
