Two properties are worth knowing at the bench: it hacks, so the seconds hand stops when the crown is pulled, and its unidirectional rotor is audible in a way that surprises owners expecting silence — a characteristic of the winding system rather than a fault, and one worth explaining to a client rather than investigating.
