The bezel is bi-directional, and that is correct

The 6217 bezel is a friction bezel that turns both ways. Unidirectional dive bezels became the safety norm later; a 62MAS that rotates freely in both directions is behaving as it should, and a listing describing this as a fault or a repair need is mistaken. Note that this differs from the modern SLA and SPB recreations, whose bezels are unidirectional.

Service dials and hands are common and are not fakes

Seiko supplied replacement dials and hands for this reference for many years. A service dial typically shows later printing conventions and modern luminous material that will not match the aged tritium elsewhere on the watch. Record it as a service replacement affecting originality; it is not an authenticity finding and does not make the watch a counterfeit.
