SRPD watches modified to present as SKX references
SKX and SRPD parts interchange, and the discontinued SKX carries a price premium. Watches are assembled from SRPD cases with SKX dials, casebacks and crowns and offered as SKX references. The reliable checks are the movement — 4R36 hacks and hand-winds, 7S26 does neither — and the crown, which screws down on an SKX and does not on an SRPD.
