The reference most people mean by a Hamilton field watch. Its interest for this catalog is the H-50 caliber: an ETA 2801-2 whose balance has been slowed from 28,800 to 21,600 vph specifically to reach an 80-hour reserve. A slow beat on a modern watch is therefore CORRECT here and not a sign of a substituted or worn-out movement, which is the inference an examiner used to modern 4 Hz Swiss watches would otherwise draw.
