Authentication Notes

Bezel

MediumProbable

Ceramic bezel insert, not aluminium or printed steel

The insert is high-tech ceramic: dense, cold to the touch, with markings that are inlaid or engraved rather than printed on the surface. A bezel whose markings can be felt as surface printing, or which warms in the hand like metal, is not the specified component. Ceramic also chips rather than scratching, so an insert with a small chip and no scratch haze is behaving correctly.

Dial

HighProbable

The rotating anchor is the brand's own check and it applies here too

As on the DiaStar, the anchor at twelve pivots freely. It is one of very few maker's marks in the whole catalog that is mechanical rather than printed, which is exactly what makes it useful: it is cheap to verify and comparatively expensive to fake.
