Combination
The close reissue makes provenance harder, not easier
Because the 37mm 2017 reissue was designed to look like the 1962 watch, photographs alone no longer separate them reliably, and period examples are worth a multiple of modern ones. The separators are physical: acrylic against sapphire, period case finishing and wear, a period movement, and the caseback markings. Do not settle a period claim from images.
Dial
Redials and relumes are common at this value and age
Sixty-year-old dials with dead lume are routinely refinished, and the anchor emblem is often replaced or re-fixed in the process. A crisp dial with even, bright lume on a 1960s watch has been restored. That is an originality finding; the model's value is high enough now to reward the work and low enough historically that it was often done carelessly.
