Original and Archive Series reissue share the dial text
The reissue reproduces the 666 FEET marking, so the text does not distinguish period from modern. Case finishing, crystal material, movement and caseback markings do. As with several reissues in this expansion, a photograph is not sufficient to establish which one is being offered.
Dial
Three identical digits make a redial easy to see
666 is unusually revealing under magnification: the three characters should be identical to each other in weight, form and spacing, and any refinishing that is even slightly off will show as one digit sitting differently from its neighbours. Compare them to each other rather than to a reference image — the comparison is available on the dial itself.
