Originated as a DEALER DISPLAY piece intended to show shoppers the technology inside, and became a catalogue product because customers wanted to buy the display. That origin is the source of the model's authentication problem: because the difference between a standard 214 and a Spaceview is the presence of a dial, a standard 214 can be converted by removing one.
