Authentication notes recorded against catalog references: what to examine, what it establishes, and how well evidenced it is. Every note links back to the reference it was written for.

56KS is a Suwa watch, unlike the 44KS and 45KS
Seiko · King Seiko · Ref. 5626-7000
The King Seiko name spans both factories. Expect the Suwa whirlpool mark on a 56KS and the Daini lightning bolt on a 44KS or 45KS. An examiner applying a single 'King Seiko = Daini' rule will flag correct watches.
The Daini mark belongs here; a Suwa mark does not
Seiko · King Seiko · Ref. 44-9990
44KS was a Daini Seikosha product and carries the Daini lightning-bolt mark. A Suwa whirlpool mark on a watch presented as a 44KS indicates either a misidentified reference or a replaced part. This is a factory-attribution check, not an authenticity verdict — but on King Seiko the factory is part of the reference's identity.
“Assembled in Georgia” provenance
TSIKOLIA · Marina Diver · Ref. TWM-42-3GN
TSIKOLIA markets the Marina as the first automatic watch assembled in Georgia. Provenance/assembly claims should be corroborated against the brand's own documentation; note that some other TSIKOLIA lines carry Swiss movements, so caliber must match the specific model.
